Engine won't turn over after replacing head gasket and crank sensor...

We replaced the head gasket and the engine would not start even with starter fluid. We then replaced the crank position sensor and it still won't start. It has the proper fuel pressure and spark, but won't turn over. It is a 2000 3.0L Ranger. Any advice is appreciated.

if it wont turn over you must have a wiring issue. see if have 12v with a meter at the starter

The starter works, so I don't think it is a wiring issue. I was thinking it is possibly the ignition timing, but was looking for other possible reasons that could be causing the problem. Or if anyone knows how to time this engine.

ok it turns over and wont start, do you have spark. do the 50-50 test. try to start with starting fulid. if it pops or trys to start it has spark and needs fuel. if it doesnt pop it needs spark
