Suspension lift or spacers
Suspension lift or spacers
Good day all,
just bought a new to me 2019 ford ranger xl. The current suspension reminds me of an old station wagon, “boat “ when going over any bumps or dips in the road.
I’d like to do some kind of lift. Nothing crazy. 2-3 inches. Just enough to add 33’s. I’d like to do an add a leaf in the back, probably new rear shocks, a set of bigger coil overs and control arms in the front. I guess my question is, would I need to add anything else? For instance, one lift kit I looked at had differential drop brackets.
I’m also wondering what the best way to go about ordering something like this. It seems like I will have to order each piece separately, rather than your traditional lift kit.
Im also wondering how to machine up new rear shocks with the add a leaf. I’m not sure how much lift the extra leaf may add.
Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks for adding me to the forum!
