Help identify this part?

2002 Ranger Edge with the 4 liter. Hey all, please see picture, this is on the front side of the PCV hose elbow right behind the throttle body. I need to know what it is, thanks!!!

Can you take another photo panned out slightly?

Actually I figured it out.... it is just a tube, not sure why ford designed it to have water go through it but that is what they did with the PCV valve so... I had a vacuum leak around hte O-Ring so instead of buying this part for $30, I bought an entire O-Ring kit for $8.00. Problem solved! Anyway, see the picture. Thank you for your response
