Icon4 Coolant Leak SOHC 4.0

Hey there - I'm trying to diagnose a coolant leak on my Ranger. Been discussing it with someone very helpful on Reddit but figured the folks here would be able to shed some light on this as well as I have been over thinking it all day.

Story so far:
  • Driving on highway heard a pop/bang from engine bay
    • Thought it may have been a rock
    • No overheating and no smoke from engine bay
    • Got truck home safely with no abnormal behavior
  • Looked under the truck and found that it was leaking coolant
    • Seemed to be coming straight down
    • Engine bay stained all over with coolant
  • Ran to autoparts store and rented a coolant pressure test kit
    • Saw the bypass hose on the thermostat housing was leaking
    • Replaced the hose
    • Thermostat was replaced a month or so ago to a metal one
  • Got the truck back together and started to put in some coolant
    • Turned truck on and burped system added coolant as needed
    • No heat coming out of vents
      • vents were set to A/C and on the lowest fan setting with heat setting cranked all the way up.
    • Let the engine cool off
  • Repressure tested the system
    • Saw coolant leaking under the car straight onto power steering rack and over the crankshaft
    • Coolant was not leaking from the thermostat housing or the new hose

My only guess right now is it has to be the water pump. I can't really get my hands in there in a great way to take a picture and really see the weep hole or anything else going on.

I took a video of the active leak and have attached it here, but forgive me as I am brand new to this forum and may very well have improperly attached these images.

Any and all help is appreciated!

What year...how many miles?
It appears to be coming from the front!

Try filling the system and running the engine until HOT. It'll be leaking, I suppose.
Shut it down, remove the fan belt and start it again for a very brief time to see if you can spot a leak without the fan's airflow and noise.

It's a 2011 ranger with 110,700.

Last i pressurized the cold engine it was running over the crank / fan clutch. Weather's kind of all over the place today, but can try the removing the fan belt tomorrow hopefully.

thank you! seemed to start at tstat housing, but now it's coming from water pump. waiting on the part, but that is my next step - figured i'd do fan clutch and belt tensioner while i have it all apart as well.

Update:

I chased it further down today. It looks like it is coming from the top of the bypass hose into the tstat. I moved the hose clamp up on it and that seems to have fixed the issue. CEL came on but that is because my dumbass unplugged the MAF.
