Unknown reason for misfire. HELP!! Please!

Hi there! My names Andy, I just picked up my 1995 Ranger XLT. 2.3L, 5 speed 2wd. Clean overall truck for how much i got it for.

When I bought it it had a pretty nasty misfire but i was so blind sided by getting my dream mini truck I didn’t care. So i bought it knowing it would be a project.

I’ve replaced,
Spark Plugs
Coil packs
Wires
EGR Sensor

and done
Oil Change
TBS
Seafoam
91 Octane gas + Additives (Try and clear out potential bad gas)

The truck runs 1000x better then when I bought it and it for sure needed the love I gave it. When I first bought her she barely went over 10mph and couldn’t rev up at all, and if you gave it any gas would just stutter and not rev up. Fast forward to now, I can drive it, got it up to about 50 I believe? And now she can rev out pretty high, not perfectly but she will. And if you give it gas it’s nowhere near as bad as before. But I can’t shake this misfire?

Two codes that are lingering now are P0304 and P0171.

Misfire on 4 and “System too lean bank 1”.

So my next thought was gonna be to throw injectors at her, but I don’t want to keep shotgunning parts till something works. Looking for suggestions, pointers, solutions, advice on similar experiences, anything. Thanks in advance!

Check your MAF output readings with an OBD scanner. How old are the o2 sensors?

I’ll have to check those tomorrow when i’m at work, i’m not sure how old the o2’s are to be honest but they definitely don’t look new.

Just cleaned the MAF with some throttle body cleaner it seemed to clear it up a tad but misfire is still there
