My cruise control quit working on my 2002 ford ranger 4.0 XLT. I replaced the controls and wiring on both sides of steering wheel. When head lights are on controls will light. If I start the truck and push the brake pedal and push the cruise control on button the dash cruise speed light will come on for one second and go off. Where do I go from here?
I pulled the plug off the sensor on the end of the master cylinder and there was liquid in the bottom of the socket. I cleaned it dry and reinstalled. I didn't know if that was normal.
