I have tried everything I can think of to search Google to find a part number and nothing exists.
I noticed the high mount brake light bulb was out on my truck. I went to put a new bulb in and discovered that the socket had melted where the bulb goes. I tried a new bulb anyway just to see if it would work and it did not. I sanded and cleaned the melted plastic off the contacts the best I could and I'm going to see if it works. If not then I'll have to replace the socket pigtail
Hopefully I get it right and the picture attaches so you'll will see what I need.

Try your local pick and pull/junk yard.

 

Ford will not sell you just that part... they will sell you the entire brake light assembly. They've been doing that for years.
