2008 Ford Ranger 4.0L v6 Sport 4x4 183,000km manual.
The catalytic coverters were removed by some moron awhile ago, and I've patched it back together as best as I can for the moment.
Left for work two hours ago, (may have been driving like an @$$), rounded the corner in the an intersection, and truck cuts out. My first thought was I shifted too poorly and stalled it. Turned it off, back on, pushed the clutch in, and tried starting.
Truck cranks, doesn't turn over.. The only gauge that seems to work is the fuel gauge. Nothing else moves.
Popped the negative cable off the battery, and back on. No change. I've pushed the fuel inertia switch, and that's the extent of my knowledge this far.
This looks to me like a lack of fuel issue caused by an electrical fault.
It has a remote starter, Viper, that has never malfunctioned. But the dash display looks wrong.
I'm at a standstill. I'm nose deep in the service manual currently, but I'm grateful for any direction.
Thanks all.
