Hey all, I recently bought a 2004 ranger with the 4.0 and auto trans. I acquired an edge evolution cs for gas engines from a buddy who had it on his 2005 f150 4.6 auto. It worked on his truck but not mine? I updated the device and selected my vehicle in the setup options and I was able to see all of my temps and rpm’s and speed but there is no programming option on the screen that is shown in the demo mode? Are these even tuneable? I also tried it on my brothers 2016 f150 5.0 and it showed the same.

The power level box is blank.

In the demo mode it showed a programming option above the diagnostics.

 

Usually you have to order tunes per vehicle,

at this point, most tuning companies have stopped supporting the old rangers
