1995 Ford ranger 2.3 5 speed crank no start below freezing weather only
I live in northwest ohio I was gifted this truck from my dad who had it for 13 years or so had very few issues with it only has around 175k miles on it well it drove fine the last 6 months no issues at all until the last month when the weather has became below freezing it started the first cold night we had I walked out to go to work and it cranked no started starting fluid didn't work the very first time so I left it parked went to work and when I got off the temperature had rised way above freezing and it cranked right up ran perfect first try that happened for about a week I thought maybe it was the fuel pump going out or freezing up so changed the fuel pump and fuel filter didnt change anything I was able to start it a few times by tons of cranking and starting fluid while cold outside but it isn't constant what so ever now it's so cold it won't start at all we tested for spark and im getting spark changed plugs ... My dad brought a heater over and we ran it under the engine for about 15 to 20 minutes and it started right up ran great a few hours later same thing back to crank no start I've done tons of looking on forums different sites and I cannot find anything about someone having these same symptoms please if anyone has any ideas
