Rear suspension creaking from just opening the door

Rear suspension creaking from just opening the door

Hey just today I noticed my rear suspension is creaking like crazy, I only noticed today. I saw some oil or something wet in the center of the leaf spring. I have a 02 ford ranger xlt

3.0 v6. Can someone help plz

Year, odometer, general condition......you know...
The bushings are x years old and dry. Each shock has bushings too.

The bushing are worn out. You can take a high percentage silicon spray, not WD-40 and "rehydrate" them. It will help the squeaks for a little while. The only way to stop the squeaks is to replace those bushings. I've got a 99 4.0 4x4 that does the same thing. I'll be replacing my trucks bushings come Spring time. Too cold to deal with them right now. LOL
