Spindles and Wheels Ordered

Well, I did it, I ordered my spindles, AAL's, and cragar black D window wheels. Wasn't too expensive to boot!

I need some tires now!!!

Probably pick up buckshots when the funds are back in order!

June 1st should be the date I get the tires.

Wahoo!!! i'm exited

I'm pretty sure you got the Doestch spindles but I'm curious what AAL's ya got and from where.

I think I'm going to buy my lift in stages too or else I'll never get enough for everything.

Good job!

Sorry for leavin ya in the dark guys!

I ordered from Suspension Max. The same company as doetesh, pro comp, and that ebay company. They are on EBAY, but there was a little confusion as to wich product it was (regular or edge) so I e-mailed the guy and he said it was better to buy from the site itself because they specify EDGE spindle or regular spindle.

It came to 377.xx with tax/shipping. Quite expensive, but ebay was 355 and it came with a 2" block (which i don't want to run!) so I figured that 20 dollars was worth the piece of mind!!!

I got summit AAL's (they were 30 dollars or so) and I got the cragar black d window wheels (15x8 5 on 4.5 4" BS) and I'm going to just paint my stock caps black to match, maybe leave em chrome.

I'll be installing as soon as I get tires, I usually have tuesdays/wednesdays off so it will be on one of those days, probably tuesday so if I run into any probs I can finish wednesday.

I'm looking at getting buckshots, I just have to figure out the $ situation because I don't know how much it will be to mount/balance, etc.

Haha...If I only had enough money.

I'll snap plenty of pics, I may even do a more detailed how-to (there is none IIRC) for the people who are iffy about the install.

I've done spindles before, just not on a ranger (chevy drop spindles)

I've heard that its a good idea to run drop shackles too...you gonna do that?

Belltech - Model BEL-6400 - SummitRacing - http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...nresults=false

A detailed how-to would be great! For those like myself who has never done it and don't want to pay for the labour.

edit: NM, I didn't buy them....

I don't know if I want to lift the rear down that much, I like the pre-runnerish look (*** down). I'll see how things are when it is done. I'll be installing pretty soon.

ugh dude, two things: get the shackles and lift the rear pre-runner here in Fl would look as out of place as a rock crawler in the dunes. and change the order on those wheels to the 10.5" wide

I don't think I'll need shackles...it should be about 1" lower in the rear. Not pre-runner, but just down in the tail a bit.

I was going to get 10" wides...Ironically, I don't know why I didn't get them, I think 8's will be fine, I plan on airing down quite a bit, and I just think it will suit my taste better with 8's.

BTW, If I ever swap axles and put on 35's, I'm definetly getting 15x10" MT Classic II's

edit: I just bought the shackles...I think i'm goign to need em after looking at aftermarkets truck, I didn't catch that he said he has no tbar crank. And his rear is only slightly higher than front. I have about 2" tbar crank (almost all the way up)
