Anything I need to consider before I crank my torsion bars?

I plane on cranking the Torsion bars to help level out the truck a little. It's completely stock suspension wise. I read and re-read the article on rangerpowersports.com regarding the torsion bar crank. Is there anything I need to take into consideration before I start wrencing on the torsion bars? I figure you guys that have done it before could give me a few pointers if you have any. Thanks!

I plan on getting some tires for the truck soon. Should I do it before I get the tires and then have them align it or should I wait till after and then take it back it have it aligned?

ditto what zach said. After you crank them you need to drive a little to let them settle. Measure both sides afterwards so you can adjust it if it's not level.

When you Crank them dont you have to install a camber/castor cams kit so the wheels will be aligned properly?

One thing I never understood about cranking the bars is a lot of members have reported their t-bars sagging after a year. Honestly...whats the point if its gonna sag in just a year? Can you re-crank them again?

when you crank them, most of the time they are maxed out. When they are like that, they tend to give you a firm ride... Then, they wear out prematurly

What if you don't crank them full? Will they still sag early?
