2006 ranger sqweeking

I have a 2006 ranger xlt, and about 2 months ago noticed a really bad sqweek coming from the truck. It sounds like a hamster running in a wheel. it does it all the time every little bump i hit in the road. I took it to ford and all they did was pack my leaf springs with grease. It did help a little, but after a couple car washes its back again. I noticed i can get it to make the noice just sitting still if i give it gas in park. Is this a comon problem with rangers the dealership said its because ford uses plastic spacers or something between the leaf spings,or is it somthing else. I just mad because its brand new and shouldn't be making any noice.

my truck already has 7,000 miles on it already, if its becuase if its new shouldnt it be gone already. It actually seemed to start after i did a burnout with it, i probally cuased the problem. Don't know how. It does have white plastic spacers or something between the leafs, and i've been driving with the window up so i don't hear it. Its when i drive down the street and everybody looks because of the noice that bothers me the most. its embarising, I'll probally just put up with it becuase the dealer probally will just keep packing the leafs with grease and tell me to come back if it starts again like they did before. thanks for the help

Actually i use my radio to tune out any unwanted squeaks and rattles from my rear suspension, like when going over railroad tracks, i really cant stand to hear it! lol

its a squeek, its not like its my engine knocking or something, its just with my experience with dealerships they never know what there doing. But thanks for being a jack*** 4x4XLT. Unless you where talking about the rolling the window up thing.

my EDGE used to do that after wheelin. jus cleaned the leafs out well and coated the plastic spacers with WD40. re-apply as needed.

my 93 makes this loose sheet metal sound up in front....that kind of sound you got? I get mine of ruff terain like dirt roads and roads with bumps, like any vibrations it sqeaks....and IT is annoying....

BTW I believe 4x4XLT was direting that to THREEnineONE not you...I think 4x4XLT meant its better to find problem then just turning radio up....

if it comes from the front..more then likley its the sway bar..the bushings that are on the frame get some grease in them or WD40

if it comes from the rear make sure you got the lil pieces of plastic inbetween the leafs

yeah i noticed that after i wrote the message sorry for getting angry but i thought he was talking about me saying i might just put up with the noice. but back to my truck, the grease they put in the leafs did seam to make it not do it as much, but what i don't understand is why when just sitting still and with the truck idiling if i hit the gas quick it will make the noice. Not a quick squeek like when i hit bumps its a steady squeek almost like when a fan belt in an engine squeeks but this comes from the rear. so what you saying is if i got something between the leafs that would cause the squeek.

Mine just started doing it after I was at the campground a couple months ago. Lots of dust, so I figured that had something to do with it. I'm not real concerned with it. It sounds like yours might be a tad louder then mine though.
