suspension options....need opinions....

so its almost time to get some tires. I was thinking of BF Goodrich AT's 285/75/16's and cranking the T-bars. I think that would look pretty decent. I'd like to do a body lift but id have to get the exhaust lifted a little so it didnt hang down 3 inches....that would annoy me. and im not too sure what a hitch looks like with a body lift....wont it hang down 3 inches too? ok....so enough with the griping. i dont do much if any off roading. is there anything else i can do to it to lift it a few inches without spending the $$$ for a superlift or am i pretty much just stuck with the options of either a body lift or a superlift? help a lift rookie out here lol

chevy rear springs, chevy shackles, body lift(your hitch will hang down), other than that to add to the front would be either torsion bar crank, or superlift or trailmaster kits.......since you have 4x4 that is about all the options you have!

For some reason, many don't like the trailmaster lift...IIRC it is cheaper than superlift and is a decent lift for a pavement pounder

yeah im thinking about my options. i really want to lift it but dont want to get to crazy with it. It just looks like its missing something and I think getting a new set of tires and cranking the t-bars will help a lot.

Yes I am a pavement pounder lol

do the superlift. but if your exhaust is close to the rear springs then you will have to change something for the superlift to work. unless you do tall blocks.

How much wheel travel do you gain, if any with the Superlift kit? Ive been looking at the RCD 6 " Suspension System because of the travel it offers, but its alot more price too. I know the 4X4 is no prerunner but I like to drive fast but still have the 4X4 to get my *** out of the mudd/crawl a few rocks when needed.
