painted plastics

noticed alot of guys had the interiors painted, like the plastic on doors, the guage area and then around the raido and a/c area, wondering if all those places were removable and then able to be put back on and what kind of paint you used. It looks great and adds a personal touch and i would love to do it

duplicolor sealer primer, i used duplicolor metal speck, duplicolor clear coat. make sure you sand everything down real good and smooth before you start painting.

I hit all my pieces with a scotch brite pad. There's a thin rubber coating on the radio bezel piece you'll want to get off. I used Krylon Fusion paint which is made for plastics...but I like the metal flake that Rangerboy has going on too. I used it under the hood too....seems to be holding up really well so far.

is all the plastics easily removable, like around the guages, the radio, and then the doors?

radio yes take out the i think 8mm bolts underneathe, and pull off its held on by pressure clips. the doors. take off the door panels(undo the screws, and then LIFT UP, it is kinda droped into place dont pull off towards you) then the handle area will come out, around the gauges you have to take alot of stuff off to get it off then mask off the piece its all 1 unit
