Fuel light!

Hey guys, Ive tried searching but I couldnt find this out. I have a 01 Ranger Edge, 3.0 and I was wondering, how much fuel do I have left when the low fuel light comes on? Thanks in advance

it doesn't matter what size your engine is, it's what cab you have...

I think the reg cabs are about 16, super cabs are 19.5... i think.

My truck is real picky about that light and the gas gauge. If I get on a downward facing incline, my gauge can move as much as a quarter towards "E", sometimes causing my light to go on...

I have never had mine come on and I've have gone 300 miles on one tank, had the guage at below empty and still no gas warning light. Could my truck not have one? Could it be burnt out? Trucks only got 47000 miles on it. 2002 4X2 ranger XLT

the light is only on the clusters with the tach. my old cluster without the tach didnt have one that im aware of.
its the check guage light. (if you have a tach)
i would say theres about 2-4gal left in my truck when the light comes on, but i have the 19.5 gal tank.
