2" lift keys
2" lift keys
I just got back from the local 4x4 shop and was looking at some new tires. The guy suggested a set of 2" leveling torsion keys and new longer shocks, which would give me the room to fit 33x12.5 on a new set of wheels.
I searched around a bit and it seems that for the most part people are against these keys.
My question is would these keys cause any more excessive wear on the suspention parts than just maxing out the torsion bar bolts?

Basically the keys that you have when installed and the bolts are not cranked are like the stock keys cranked all the way in. So if you tighten them up with the new keys you got yes you are putting added stress on the torsion bar.
