It sounds awesome, but a lot different from my 3.0. A lot louder.

 

is it broken in yet? sounded quiet to me, but I guess I am comparing it to flowmaster.

 

Ohh its broken in, yes its not as loud as the flowmasters.

 

Damn those flowmasters must be loud. the borla is perfectly loud enough for me, though I've only had it for about 1000 miles.

 

I think my borla is still breaking in, but sounds like a mellow flowmaster, reminds me of a si/so 40 series but my borla is si/do

 

How many miles does it take to be considered "broken in"?

Yeah it has a pretty nice upper rpm powerband now, like it continues to pull instead of going dead after 4k.. I need to race my sister's '02 V6 stang, it's a manual with a MAC and true dual flow 40s, just to see where I stand lol..
