Exhaust Setup

This may have been beat to death already but I haven't found anything. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't stock exhaust tubing 2.25"? If I am right, then how are the guys running Flowmaster 40 series with 2.5" or even 3" inlets attaching their mufflers to the stock tubing? Or, are you replacing the entire tubing for the cat back?

I want to run an Original 40 series, but dont know how to attach it, or which sounds better, SO or DO?

Pictures and instructions, hell, any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys.

reducer pieces. only like 5bux at auto parts stores.

i prefer single outlet, not so sure on the sound b/c thats all ive ever ran, but i think a single tip looks better than dual exhaust
