seat question

1) if i decide to do a 40/40 seat conversion, does anyone know where i can find a grey or black explorer console? and does it just fit right in, besides the relocating of the air bag switch?

2) if i go with my other idea, what would be the easiest full 1 piece bench seat to put in my 2000 ranger?

You can find grey Explorer consoles on Ebay or any local salvage yards. Black wasn't an interior color availible in '95-01 Explorers so you would have to do some painting on one that is another color.

damn...5 speed..i dont know what that would involve..im sute there will be alot of cutting ..your best bet would be a junk yard..ebay cost to damn much..ffs the cover alone for the armrest goes for 80 bucks lol.. i did the conversion and it looks awesome..i have a practice console to that i hacked away and i think i might try to put a monitor in it with a xbox ..but for the manual...alot of cutting and fiberglassing...
they only come in grey and black and tan and black i belive
....if i dont use it i can sell it to you pretty cheap..u just would need to get a armrest

Not exactly. On the '95-'01 Explorers: Grey and tan are the common colors. There was also a darker tan (called "saddle") that was availible for a year or two and some harder to find '96-'97 Explorers came with the willow green interior. Blue was availible in only '95 and this is also kind of a rare color. Some Rangers had this willow green interior too, but they are few and far between. Black was never an option.
