First for Rangers?

I started thinking the other day about placing a F-150 overhead console in my truck. the curve and everything would fit a lot better. so i started to work on it Saturday and ran into a few problems, like the new sensor didn't work. so i just pulled the sensor card out of the explorer ohc that i had in and put into the f-150 ohc. painted it and put in and it works and it looks much better than the old ohc. i will post pics soon. but is this a first for rangers or was i beat to the punch?

I see there was a problem where the stock dome light was. That is why the photo is sticking out of it, correct?

Looks good man, maybe you can find a way to cover it up without getting a whole new headliner.

He used a OWned picture from the smilie menu. You can use Ranger forums smilies in your sig, but you cannot use an exterior link.

no the dome light still has about 6-8 inches behind it. it fits good and everything. the curve on this ohc is a lot less and so it mates up to the headliner much better. i don't need the dome light because my truck has the door ajar problem and the light will stay on for a while so i'm just leaving it disconnected for now.

it fits, there's still like nearly a foot of room between the end of the ohc to my dome light. it is bigger than an explorer ohc but not by a whole lot. it is a lot wider though. and the mounting bracket is a lot different. but after carefull consideration and planning i tried it and it all fits snug up against the headliner with no issues. the only bad part was the computer in the F-150 console was fried so i took the one out of the explorer ohc that i had been using. perfect fit

and the difference between them is that the f150 has a second storage area, lacks the lights. dose it still have the compass?

Sweet....

i should try this.....had 3 pairs of Oakley's screwed up by either throwing them in the pass. seat and g/f sitting her pretty little *** on them or tossing them on the dash and watching them shoot out the pass window when i hung a left turn.....i tried to catch them. either catch them or take out a friggin bus stop bench. i had to go back and pick them up out of the gutter.
