2007 Sucks!

So as many of you may no i have been having horrible luck with my truck and its lift. Friday has topped it off on this ****y year. So friday before school me and my buddy park behind the school on a big dirt lot with a huge hill behind it thats leads like 5 miles back. Its a pretty good hill for wheelin bu not in during school.

So he pulls up next to me and says hes gonna go try it and im like ok whatever. So he barely gets up it in his 4runner and follows the hill all the way back. On the way back to the bottum of the hill theres a turn off and another hill thats leads to a massive jill that looks over the school and everyone on the school grounds can see you. So he gets to the top of the massive hill so he can show off that he made it and everyone can see. He tries to back out now and hes stuck. So he calls me and asks me to get up there quiock before he gets caught and im like fine so I mobb up the hill and finally get to him. I yank him out and he starts heddin back down the hill before i even get the chance to put my strap away and turn around.

So I start going back down and i see him racing back up flyin through the turnsand jumping off the bumps so im like wtf is he doing and i just keep goin down cause I dont want to be late. And when i get to the final hill to go down and start to peer over it I see 3 cop cars at the bottom with there lights on and the cops glaring at me from the bottom. Also my principle and 5 aids are also there in there golf carts. Im like **** no wonder while he turned around. I was about to do the same until the cops got on there intercom and started yelling at me to come down so I thought it would be better to go down instead ofrun from the police. I get to the bottum and 3 cops pull me out push me on my hood, read me my rights, and cuff me. They pat me down and put me in there car.

At this point im freaking out. Then the cop gets in and asks me who my buddy is and im lik uhh i dont remmember. Then hes like alright if you want to play that game i guess ill press full charges on trespassing and off roading illegaly(whatever that was called). So I just spill everything cause I was practically crappin myself. About an hour later of sittng in the back of the car they bring my friend back who got ****ed over by evading the police. In the end I got a saturday work program from school and a parking ticket and fine for no front plate. I got off real easy because they understood I was just trying to help. My friend got screwd though. So thats another story of crapy 2007

Lol I came very close to running because on the other side of the hill a few miles theres a exit but like every cop knowes about so I took like 15 seconds to think about it while hey were yelling at me and decided to be responsible . But i guess I made the right choice and with a yellow truck it kinda hard to hide. I hope 2007 gets better but the wierd thing is on new years eve like 1 second before 2007 i said to my gf 2007 is gonna suck and guess what my resolution came true. Like all my other good ones didnt.

yea, theres a good thing about having a color that stands out and a bad thing......good thing is you stand out and you get noticed.......bad thing is if you do something wrong, you are so easy to spot and cant get away with anything. lol

I have some memory of a road to somewhere being paved with something.

You might also want to think about the company you keep.

Yea...well in Ventura County...cops have nothing to do but bust kids for speeding and rolling stops...and apparently for offroading...used to be that way in Simi...but that new mall took over the only offroading spot...still 11 months to go, itll get better!

im the only one around here that has an orange ranger.......I've only seen about 3-4 other orange rangers and they were all on cardomain, so yea, if somebody spoted me doing something wrong, all they gotta know is that its an orange ranger and police could easily spot me.

Doesn't sound like it sucks to me. No one got hurt and no damage to vehicles. Just another lesson in life.

Thats the risk you take by wheeling in an illegal spot.

all of these replies and only two logical ones. you were tresspassing. you should be arrested. maybe it'll keep you young kids from realizing that just because "it's there" doesn't mean you have to wheel it. this is why people frown upon people who wheel.
i hope you received a hefty fine. i know i sound like a *****, but sometimes you need to be dealt harshly to understand that laws are laws. stupid, good, bad or idiotic.

I don't think it was too harsh. It is idiodic actions like talked about that ruins the chances of others wheeling. Abusing lands does not help anyone. I would consider trespasing abuse of land. You are to TREAD LIGHTLY that means never going where you are not supposed to and leaving everything the way you left it. When you are stupid and ruin the chances of those trying to follow the law you should be punished for your actions.

I apologize if this leads to a locked thread but young dumb kids **** me off. BTW i am 24 and I don't abuse the area's I wheel and never have even as a teenager. I always tried to leave it as we found it when I was a teen even while on an ATV.

Wow... I know the difference from right and wrong and i know that offroading illegaly is dumb so I dont need any of your **** trying to teach me a lesson. No fine in the world could tell me something I already know so in my eyes any punishment at all is a waist of time. And as for my punishment I went saturday to do my hours at school and after 30 minutes they let me go on good behavior so you.

And for anyone else whos not a douche thanks for the support.

well..........who said he was up there offroading? From what I read, he was sitting down in the parking lot watching. He only got busted because they caught him up there when he was getting his friend unstuck.
