New to forum, My first mods - price help?

I'm new to the forums and I've been mostly reading for a few weeks.

anyway, I have a 4.0Liter V6 2002 Ranger edge 4x4 with the extended cab. color: Red

I've been reading and decided on mods, I havent had this truck more then a month, it came with a drop in liner, so I decided on.

Line X sprayed bed liner
Westin bull bar, (black polished)

I called Line - X northwest here in Washington state.

and a guy quoted me the following.

$489.00 - Bed Liner
$399 - Westin Bull Bar
$50 bucks labor on the bull bar install.

Total = $938 + tax

I can afford it, especially since I just got my income tax. if I dont get these mods then maybe new set of tires or wheels, which I havent decided on whats best for city driving/ going to the mountains once in a while.

still, it feels pricy for some reason.

does this sound fair, a good price for this work?

the liner comes with a life time warranty and the bar probably comes with something as well (didnt ask)

I will update my avatar with pics of my truck soon.....

thanks, and you guys have a great forum..fun to read

The liner sounds about right maybe a little high. Not sure about the bull bar but if I were you I would install it myself if you have the tools. Its not that hard plus its a good learning experience.

ok cool, I've been using search and havent found anything on a self-install with the Westin bull bar.

is there somewhere I can get some directions on how to? or does westin themselves have something?

I think the bull bar is overpriced, considering the same bar I want from westing website is around 260 bucks...and this place is charging 399 + 50 bucks labor.

Line-X goes for $499 here but since I bought a lot of stuff from them they gave me $100 discount.
I bought the Safari bar and it's was super easy to put in. Even easier if I had help.

Check around for better prices on accessories. I bought bed rails for mine and the shop installed them for free when they did the Line-X.
