The good, the bad... and the ugly

The good:
I think I have the skills now, to do a front end conversion, but I am not sure what I want to do.

The bad:
I am limited on money so I am leaning toward the phantom grill becuase of the cheap factor.

The ugly:

IDK WHICH ONE?

2003 Mercury Mountaineer

Phantom with shaved corners

I dont like the fenders on this one, but tha is pretty easy to fix I would imagine, just use more of the ranger fender vs. the jeep one.
JEEP

i say do the jeep cuz that is very unique. the mountaineer/exploder is (i think) more common among the front end conversions.

the f150 is WAY too wide and would have to be section alot to get it to even fit, let alone would it ever look right.

s-10 is a big fat no lol.

that is a jeep cherokee there, well a jeep grand cherokee.

I have thought of doing a few different ones, lincoln zephyr front end, aviator, and even thought about doing a newer tacoma front end, but now all this thinking has me up in the air about any of them.

those rims on the mountaineer are fugly x a bajillion if that was your choice of rim you would waste an entire show truck.

we'll have to settle on a difference in taste... because those rims look like hub caps to me and they just look cheap.

The body lines of the truck and especially with the mountianeer swap are really rigid. those rims are really fluid curvy. They belong with the body lines of a Neon or Sebring. if you are serious about having a show truck look into some Coddington's. He has had some nice ones lately.

I'm sorry but I just really hate those rims

its alright man everyone is entitled to their opinion and that IS what I asked for.

I am serious about having a show truck, but the rims are cheap, and my first set, and by no means my FINAL choice of rims.

I dislike boyds style very much. But I wont go there.

nor do I have the money at the moment for some overpriced wheel. I just want something for the moment that I can tuck more than tire.
