no they relocate the t-bars back to the stock location instead of dropping them like the SL does.

what about how the a-arms are dropped in the front....wouldn't that cause a bad angle on the torsion bars? they would be sloped down toward the a-arm putting them in a bind in the a-arm since they go through it....

Thats what these keys eliminate. Look at the site. These are not adjustment keys.

Just emailed them. I tried calling them but no answer.

I also called Sam's Offroad to see if they had them and the guy i spoke to said he has never installed them on a ranger and didn't know if they made them for the or not.

i understand that part, but wouldn't it put a bad strain on the t-bars at the a-arm since they are dropped down 4"?

it shouldnt.

only problem i kinda see is that the torsion bars go through both front and the back of the A arm. the f150 and some chevys just go in the back part of the A arm.

Its like the same system Rancho has for the H3 Hummers and other GM trucks.

This piece fits into where the torsion bar normally passes through in the lower control arm. The torsion bar then fits into the top of this piece, therefore eleminating any need to drop the torsion bar bracketry in the rear because the height difference is made through this piece.

That is what I was thinking. The design looks solid enough.

gonna have a tough time gettin sumthin like that packaged on a ranger. with the torsion bar passing thru the rear portion of the control arm and connectin to the front, the relocation bracket would put the torsion bar in the same area as the CV shafts.

cool idea though

huh? those pieces will still go through the lower part of the control arm just like the superlift kit does it.

those pieces go in the attachment point of the torsion bar on the control arm. for a ranger that is the front. meanin if you put those on a ranger control arm the bar would hafta pass OVER the control arm to the attachment point. right thru the path of the CV shaft.

i think they are saying they should design a bracket that goes ALL the way thru the arm, and then attach to the tbar outside the arm, but that would require shorter Tbars too
