Shoot when I got my #1 bars I went to the dealer first and they wanted $90 for each bar! I ended up ordering them for $92 shipped for both off 1stfordparts.

You sure you don't already have #1 bars DUB? being ex-cab and a 4.0 4x4 you sure might.......or are yours sagging?

think mine are sagging..being that my truck was 1. wrecked before and 2. lowered then raised..i think they ahave sagged because most people with factory blocks in the rear can raise the front with the bars to level it out but i cant get the driverside the same as the passenger side..i think the driverside has sagged a bit

There is a lot of variation in parts prices from dealer to dealer. Basically, each dealer is an independent entity and they can charge whatever they want. Suggested retail on the bars is about $55 each. Shop around to find a local dealer who isn't gouging.

The sticker on the door pillar has the legend SPR in a field and a 2 or 4 character code under it like 1F or it could look like 11FF. The first character shows the rate code for the t-bar, the second for the leaf spring.

So if you had B rate t-bars, and F rate leafs, it would be BF or BBFF.

I just checked my door jamb and my SPR was a FC

So getting the B's from an Explorer would improve my truck as is.
I have a right front side that sits lower than the rest of the truck...

Now the question is which explorer tbar will fit?

1-code torsion bars and C-code rear springs. You have the strongest bars and leaf pack available from the factory.
