What's up with the rear bumper twist??

It seems like every chrome bumper I've ever seen on any ranger has a twist to it. Did they come that way from the factory, warp in the sun , or did everyone with a chrome bumper back into something to keep up with the trend? Seriously! They're all freakin bent, it's like a giant came and grabbed the end of the bumper and gave it a lil twist.

Is it just me seeing this?

hmmm... I'll have to go look at mine in a few hours to see if I have that too! If I do, it's probably from all the massive tourqe that this 2.5l makes...

I think i may be seeing the same thing, travis. Maybe it's the fact mine is all tweaked out, and it's blurring my vision....hmm.

Mine is effed up too, however that is because a tree ran in front of me on a dark, rainy road causing me to lose control, doing a 180 into it. Either that or I backed into one while I was being stupid... yeah, it was probably that.

Yeah I had a tree jump out in front of me in the dark one night while drinking, and then had some bowtie rear end me at a stop light, so I am on my 2nd twisted bumper.... :)

lol a couple years ago I backed into one of those things that you put the carts into after your done shopping but I was messing around after work and was flying in reverse. left a litting dimple in the chrome one but other than the the body took more damage under the tail light lol.

I never backed into anything I don't think. Unless one of my buddies did and didn't tell me....which is entirely possible. Alot of horror stories arose after the truck burnt. lmao

My bumper my new truck is bent the same exact way though. Who know's what happened to it before I owned it though.

That's not a stock chrome bumper

The one I made like that could withstand a cannon blast. haha

I'm not good at telling if mine is bent. I haven't backed into anyhting so if it's bent it came that way from Ford. Does it look bent in these pictures.........

I got a 06 sport also and the rear bumper looks tweaked also. I was thinking about adjusting mine level. What kind of job that would be? Has anyone tried that.

If you look at the gap under the tailgate their is a smaller gap on the left then there is on the right.

Maby its from pulling trailers and other stuff with your bumpers? I got a different bumper with mine being a sport but my ball bends down when pulling something light. Mine is also twisted but I think backing down my ditch where it dropped straight off and landing on the bumper had a little to do with that.
