Hey all, i was on a site a few days ago that sold some chrome lettering to go over the "4.0 SOHC" raised letting on our TB covers. I was wondering if anybody knows what the site was and if any of you have it. Maybe it seems a little ricey but I thought it might look kind of cool. Thanks.

 

just tape it off and paint it. it would look just as well I think

 

I painted mine with a red paint pen. Lasted just fine for almost 4 years...looks like i did it yesterday.

But your wondering about stickers.....you know, I really don't know how well the decal would stick the plastic of the throttle body cover.

 

I painted mine and it came out nice. Chrome would look good though.

 

I wanna see pic of this. I might consider it if I like it. What color would you sugest with a Black truck?

 

stickers wont hold up with the heat from the engine....paint it...

I think I migght go with Silver or a dark silver (kinda like a gray I guess, lol).
Not a fan of the red when its the only thing under there. Thanx for the pic though as it did help me decide what color I want to paint it. I will post a pic of mine before and after when I do it.

 

i would go with yellow if you are worried about it matching everything else since everything has yellow raised lettering...or you could redo them all with a new color...
