Opinion: 32x11.50 or 33x10.50?
So this suummer I am gonna buy an extra set of tires for off-road only (probably swamper LTBs or the like)... So, I am also gonna get some 15x8 steelies...
So, should I get 32x11.50 or 33x10.50?
I think the 33's would be cool (tall and skinny)...but never seen them before. what do you think? You can see my truck on my photobucket below if curious...

Pure offroad set? I would go with 33's. You never know when that extra 1/2 inch of ground clearance may come in handy. But also, without any lift you may tear some things up, even with that skinny of a tire.

Huh...Yeah, I would be at stock height, but with a bar crank in the front. I would like to see the pic of the 33's. But it sounds 32s might be a better bet
The prob I had was I couldn't find a tire like a swamper in a 32x11.50...
Like a LTB or TSL... Did i just not look in the right place?
The TSL SX comes in 32 I think, but is alot of money!

When I wear out my 32x11.5" off road only tires, I am going to buy a set of 33x10.5" tires. I want the extra clearance and narrower tires work better in the mud. I consider an off-road only tire is for funtionality not looks. Before I bought the 32x11.5" tires I used 31x10.5" tires since 1977 and they worked fine. I think that having them taller at the same width will do nothing but make them better.

But the new Swamper IROK ND looks cool with 265/75/R16...
I had to take the mud flaps off cause they were rubbing on the screws that hold them on. And there is a slight rub in the upper right of the driverside fender well. But only a slight scuff at full lock and after a year I think they are worn enough that they don't rub anymore.
On a side note if you go with the 33" and want to take the mud flaps off do it before you get the tires put on. There isn't much room left after they are on there.

TSL radials come in a 32x10.5 and i have a set of 33x10.5 in my shop at work, brand new never balanced and i think mounted up on a set of 15x8's they would look good. I'll let you know when i get the 33's mounted. I have a set of 31x9.5's and that was the most $ f up i ever had.
