One problem leads to another.

Wow what a day.... Somehow my fuel dampener when out about a month ago and I had to have it fix so I finally scrounge up the extra cash 260 bucks and get it put in today when all of a sudden on my way home from the shop as I pull into my driveway my clutch goes out. Just my luck that as soon as one thing is fixed not ten min later something else breaks. Then I get held late at work for an hour and oh yea I have a Final Exam tomorrow in chemistry. Lets hope tomorrow is better than today was.

What is a "fuel dampener"? And your clutch slave cylinder probably went bad. They put it in the bellhousing, so when it leaks it ruins the clutch as well. Hopefully, it's not that.

Chemistry ? Ouch, Im glad all I have is ME courses and no more hardcore chem again. Took a class about a year ago, a 60% was a solid B......... I guess that is what happens when you have 200ppl in a class.

Its just like the fuel pressure regulator, its like a one way check valve.

Also I just got some quotes and I think it is that slave. So Far we are lookin at 600 to 800 bucks. Not fun. I will keep everyone posted though.

you've got it worse than me, but i broke the drop bracket on my front diff, got a new one.. welded up a plate to reinforce it and that inturn caused me to over extend 2 CV shafts...

then i got that fixed and my last manual hub broke, so i was running around with the front locked up with basically a spool in the front end and that caused this...

now that i knew wasnt good for the hub constantly spinning so i got my manual hubs on as fast as i could, well when i was replacing the 3rd cv shaft in a month i noticed that i destroyed the $260 bearing assembly which i just by chance has laying around in my shed.

i feel your pain man, but i haven't had to pay so much, it just gets annoying having to constantly fix ****

Annoying is somethin but this sucks man I have only had the truck 8 months or so and it doesnt even have 50,000 miles on it. I just feel like these things shouldnt be breaking. But it is what it is and I will have it fixed then it will be like new again and hopefully hopefully hopefully nothing else breaks for a while cuz I did not have the thousand bucks that I am dropping to fix all this crap. Its at the shop now so I will let you all know what I hear
