I was going to go for longer shocks but I was told if I do then the control arm will bottom out and that is really bad. I don't think there is anything you could do. I just kind of live with the sh*tty ride.

With 4wd, the first thing that will bind is the CV's you can get alot more travel out of putting a long shock on, but then the cv's will bind and at some point your steering and upper ball joints will bind.

If you get longer/better shocks you will need to put some limit straps on there before you get cv bind.

My truck really sucks on the freeway. It makes my man ***** and gut bounce. LOL! It was also my fault because of poor shock selection.

Everybody said the ride would get rougher when I cranked my t-bars, it didn't so I can't really relate.

Mine are cranked 1", to level, and it is not alot worse. It is stiffer though. To answer your question Camburg makes the "shock upgrade" that is perfect for cranked T-bars. It is a longer travel resevoir shock with new mounting tabs and a limit strap. The limit strap is the key to keeping your front end from binding up. You could built your own tabs and get some limit staps and the shocks, or call Camburg. I think the kit is $500. It is not on their web site but they will still ship it.

It just depends on how much you crank them. Too Much = Rough Ride. I cranked mine Too Much at first. Backed off a half inch or so and the ride & handling improved.

New aftermarket shocks can cause a rough ride, too, while they're breaking in. After they break-in, they're on their way to being worn out. Which is the main reason I like the Rancho 9000. When the ride starts to become soft, just turn the little adjustment **** one click and they're back to "new" (or whatever you choose).

I turned mine 4 complete times, raised the front roughly 2". It is a different ride, I cant say wheather its rougher or not. Just a different feel.
