Need your help on t bars
Alright my left t bar is maxxed and right is out more becuase the bolts are diff sizes i hear. i want one more inch out of it. How can i do this. i have b bars with 80000 miles on them. should i get #1 bars or t bar keys or should i just flip the bolts around. i want the front to be like an inch higher so if i got t bar keys i would only use them for about an inch give or take.
Ermm.. the left side is for the left side, right size is for the right side.. switching the bolts around wouldnt do anything, and buying #1's wont do anythign either...
If you max it out anymore then the max already is, you will KILL your entire wheel assembly.. you sure your looking for that?
Sounds like you need a cheap bodylift.. maybe an inch or two?

No, Installing #1s would give him more lift without all the turns. If your lookin into getting an inch #1s would do fine.
Heres a link to a member who installed #1 t-bars.........https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=52199

putting a longer bolt in there would allow you to crank them even higher....if clearances allowed
stiffer bars will give more lift and a stiffer ride
maxing out torsion bars has nothing to do with the wheel assembly....
make sure the advice you are giving is correct before you give it
Thanks you all i think i will have my buddy at ford order me the number one bars. how bar are they to install? i know i will get an alignment. so the number one bars will be a little stronger than the bs that i have.

Aww sorry, didnt mean the literal 'wheel assembly' but the added stress of all of that extra crank without the wheel not abel to do what it can from factory specs, will wear some parts down under there pretty quick if ya max it... alot of the time its cheaper to just get a quick 2" body lift or so then have to worry about further repairs down the road. Sorry bout that

ok 2 questions..
1.) Over time your bars sag right? Well if they are cranked up, then eventually when they sag lower itll be right at where you started, well if you de-crank them want it be lower then factory afterwards??
2.) Exactly how FAST does cranking your bars, say 4-5 times, wear out stuff?? And what does it wear out...
And will it keep wearing out faster than normal wear and tear (after replacing the stuff the 1st time)?
