Brakes (your opinion)

It's time for pads and shoes and I was wondering what yall recommend.

I'm not up for ordering high performance stuff of the 'net. I'm more curious about what you choose from local auto parts stores.

Thanks

I usually run with Duralast products from Autozone. I have never had a problem with their products and having lifetime warranty on the pads is cool.

Most ppl dont understand warrenties on brake products so maybe you guys can understand this...
Most pads/shoes purchased at part stores have a "limited lifetime warrenty" which literally means they only warrenty manufactor defects, the only pads I know that warrenty wear-out is ThermoQuiets, DuraLast Gold, and Bendex pads. If you take a set of Wearever pads back to Advance Auto and expect them to warrenty out a set of pads due to wearout, they gonna laugh. Thats why Bendex, DuraLast and ThermoQuiet pads are a lil more expensive than most, b/c your really buying 2 sets for one, once you wear out the first set they will warrenty them out ONE time.
Personally, I like Friction Master Ceramic pads, they produce a thin, white-like brake dust rather than thick, black dust. If I cant get them Id go with ThermoQuiets.

Those lifetime pads may be nice because they are warrantied but if you aren't careful they will warp the shyt out of your rotors.

I use Hawk pads but you said you don't want pricey so that rules them out.
