lift ?

i got a 2001 ranger edge n i wanna put some 33's on it n im pretty sure id have to get a body lift so they wont rub...but my ? is where to get a good body lift that dont cost a crap load of money?

also i keep seeing things about torsion bars and you can raise them to give you more lift???if so how much total lift you think i could get with the 3in BL ??and what do the torsion bars do??n will it effect the ride alot?

thanks for the help...

you dont need a lift to put 33's on. google is your friend when it comes to cheap lifts (or anything). torsion bars will make your ride more "stiff" once you crank em.

torsion bars just level the front of your truck with the rear. which will cause your ball joints to wear out faster than normal.

you can fit 33x12.50 on the truck with no lift. You will rub a bit at full turn but nothing major, just crank the torsion bars and you will be good to go. Ball joints will wear out faster but not as fast as you think they would!

if you have a 2wd edge i would just get a spindle lift for the front, add a leaf and chevy drop shackle for the rear.
you might not need the drop shackle, but im not sure.

that should look nice with 33's.

if your truck is 4wd then i would just get a PA bodylift.
