if you can't live/deal with body damage then maybe you should think about lowering your truck not lifting it.

it also doesn't help that most of the wheeling your talking about is most likely illegal.

if you go to an orv park or something like that, im sure you won't run into metal objects.

You should.

The way I wheel, I ALWAYS expect something to break or get damaged. That way when it happens, I am not that disappointed.

It sucks that it happened to you, though. I try to avoid mud and water as much as possible just because 1) I hate washing the truck afterwards, 2) if it's a stream, it could be water that some family is using for drinking or 3) you don't know what all is in the water/mud. Also, I hate getting stuck and then getting out and being like "OH ****!"

Now that you got your first damage, you shouldn't be too sad about the rest. Trust me, it'll keep happening.

I want pics .

Well I understand what everyone here thinks when you wheel you should expect damage , from mud ,rock, roots , extractions .
But I can kind see this guys point , its a giant metal post .

To the op take this as a learning experiance from now on dont go through water or mud unless you know whats there , count yourself lucky it wasnt worse .

What kinda chicks you been talking too? I haven't met them.

Sucks about the damage, but as said above, sometimes you gotta pay to play.
