Icon4 Roof mounted console??

Has anyone made or seen a console inside the cab on the roof??

Like a strip of plastic or something spanning from the windsheild back to the dome light or something???

Was thinking itd be cool, cuz u could mount a cb, switches, and cargo areas maybe??

Lets here what ya think

You talking about the ones you can get for full sized trucks?

Windshield back to the domelight? You must be short! lol I only got about an inch between my head and the roof

I dont recall what they look like on a full-sized??

Im 5'9, i slouch in my seat though....Just an idea...I guess the whole room thing would rule this out huh???

Maybe just halfway back then

someone fabbed in an OHC that went all the way to the dome light i believe...i think it was out of an s-10 though.

I just checked out that thread from cpt. obvious...Not like that, more like a rectangular box, u can install switches/cb and such

You can make one, just some wood and paint. Then if you want to get fancy you can fiberglass it.

This is what I have been thinking about doing to either mount a touch screen in or to relocate my CD player and put the touch screen in the dash.

Have it like 3 inches deep and as wide as the OHC so it flow together....
Somebody could photoshop this idea huh??

I measured it out. Too much work, it will look akward, and will be akward to use.

Looks like my touch screen (if my carputer ever comes through) will be going on the tranny hump behind the shifter.
