Yeah if you make custom brackets it can be done. I have a full bench in my 2003. In the pic it is not bolted down yet.

What bench would fit? S10? Tacoma? Minivan? I'm curious.

Mine is out of a minivan. A ranger bench will fit no doubt and an s10 will most likely fit as well.

You prolly dont need custom brackets if your bench is from a ranger. If the years are close it might be a direct swap.

i want just a regular bench with only lap belts, i think its legal as long as theyre there, and then do custom 4 point belts, maybe 5 point, not sure yet, but i was looking at some, mine has a split bench with fold down console, i want just 1 piece for thye bech, non reclining, basic.

I know in my year ranger the seat belts have a sensor on the end and if not used can throw an engine code. Lap belts should work as long as its plugged in to the old seat belt part. As fas as a harness you will need to do a little more work but its doable some people on the site are running them. A harness with a bench seat I dont know about that.

Mine came out of a mini van and tilts forward for storage behind it which is nice. I keep recovery gear back there.

I would just remove the old bench seat and start comparing brackets and see if it is a direct swap. Then put lap belts in and be done until you figure out the harness situation.

dont you have an ext. cab why would you want a bench seat in that and the only way your going to but in a 5 point harness with an ext cab is probably a roll cage

What make/model and year did that seat come from? It looks great!
I'm putting bench seats in my 318i, and a ranger seat is a perfect fit.
