Ford's reply

Dear Steve Pace,

Thank you for contacting the Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center regarding your interest to import a Ford Ranger Crew Cab in United States.

Ford, Lincoln-Mercury builds vehicles to meet market regulations according to local laws. We do not recommend taking a vehicle outside of the market for which it was manufactured. We suggest that you contact your local authorized Ford dealer to discuss your needs.

Sometimes e-mail communication does not allow us to gain additional information that may be helpful in responding to your inquiry. Should you feel that we have not adequately addressed your questions, please feel free to contact us via telephone at (800)392-3673 between the hours of 8am and 5pm, local time, Monday through Friday. Hearing-impaired callers with access to a TDD may contact 1-800-232-5952.

My orig e-mail.

Ford Motor CompanyMain Topic: OtherEmail Questions: I have noticed that Ford offer a crew cab type set up for the Fod Ranger in Mexico. I was wondering if you could tell me what would be involved in getting one imported and licensed in the states. I currently have a '04 ext. cab. Edge 4x4. I love this truck and will be ready within the next year to replace it. I would like to replace it with the same, but as a crew cab. Any help would be appreciated.
Aint that some crap. So much for customer satisfaction!

The Afghan National Army had these. They were bad ***. Machine gun mounts and RPG rocket holders. Diesel 5spd, with nice *** interiors. Most were green but I saw all kinds of different ones. These tan ones at KAF had badass bumbers with fender and rocker bars runnin from bumper to bumper.
