Ranger weight

Just thought i would throw this out there to anyone interested. I weighed my truck today and felt i would post the results of it here, and if anyone else cared to chime in, please do so and post what your truck weighs as well!

2004 Ranger XLT
3.0L V6
Manual Trans
2WD
Stock, stock, stock, stock exc an FIPK which wont affect weight.
Power nothing! Roll up windows, manual locks, manual seats.
Supercab 2 door.
Bedliner
Full tank of gas at weigh in. (just filled up last night)
I was not in the vehicle at weigh in

Grand end result?

3,440 lbs.

Its lighter than i thought it would be. I was expecting around 3600. My own 1969 Cougar was 3,520 with 3/8 of a tank of fuel. Not bad.

Probably add 600lbs to that and you get my truck.

Off topic but there is a meet coming up if you are interested.

I got mine weighed one day when I went to the dump. My truck had all my tools, a ton of garbage in it, my topper, and a bunch of stuff in the cab. 4800 lbs.

My title says 2800 lbs. Sounds about right for a 96 4 banger.

Does anybody know of a reliable database or page for weights of rangers of various configurations and years? I'd like to know what my 97 B2300 ext cab 2wd weighs, but always see weights for 4x4's, v6's, etc.
