first stuck-age

well, had my ranger for about 2 months or so now, i periodically go play in the dirt, but today, i got stuck for the first time ever (really, ever, this is my first truck and 4x4)

playing around in some mud, theres a grass field, we decide to cut across it... turns out this was a swampy field with about 14ish inches of water and muck

i sank, tried to back out, made it out about 4 more feet when it was game over and i was just spinning, i stop, open the door, im up to the side steps on one side and slightly over them on the other side, i knew i was done

started putting phone calls out, buddys dad came and got him to go borrow a jeep wrangler 4x4, he gets back, we hook up and i was pulled out really easily, hooray!!

but it was fun....

truck is fully stock... i need new/better tires and a lil more learning :)

stock wranglers, my friend got in the back and hopped up and down and i tried to move out, but it was soupy and pretty much all water and some muck, my tires were just spinnin free, i moved it forward a foot and back a foot, then nothing, saw i was up to the lug nuts and step side and knew it was pretty much over

the jeep pulled me out like cake cause he was on dry land

i THINK tires would have helped but i might have still gotten stuck, not sure

i plan on 33s all ts or mud ts

Yea tires make a difference, i was in mud probably half way or more up my diffs last night (all mud not too much water) and i was able to keep going back and forth. MTZs FTW!

i washed most of it off today but needs a few more quarters worth of power washing
