OVHD Console Swith Up

I picked up the Explorer console with the intent to do the mod, but it seems everyone does it. Good or bad I decided to do it different because all I wanted was temp & compass. I used parts from the console removed all but 4 wires and used the area below the temp controls. What do you guy's think...........

Great idea!
I have plans to put one of those into the 'fake' vent in my 94 dash.

Woah that is sweet! I may have to consider something like that instead! Would prefer not to hack up my headliner...

looks good, great in fact, was wondering if there was any new info or photos of the install yet, as a few others have said, this would save me hacking up my headliner.

I second that.

Has there been any updates on this? I'm off for a few weeks, and I was going to bite the bullet and buy a OHC off eBay (as there seems to be tonnes of them with all the components). I might have to follow suit and do the cubby temp/compass mod now.
