Rear Toolbox Recommendations...

Looking for a rear toolbox that goes in the same spot as those kind that drape over the edge of each side, But I prefer one that does not overlap the side if the bed. Needs to be big enough to accomodate my 18" toolbox, Toolbag and impact wrench and assorted other tools to fix motorcycles. any advice appreciated. DR

You can usually find used ones for cheap on Craigslist. Search there.

I prefer UWS brand ones

i got this in my truck. i have no idea what it actually goes in, but it fits perfectly in between the wheel wells for you to get a size comparison. i paid $20 from a buddy of mine. if you like it, i could scrounge around and maybe get you a pn off of it. its a few inches taller then a milk crate and it hold all of my fire gear in it + a milk crate just fine.

Looks like a tool box for a stepside pickup. Also a box for a early to mid 90's Z71 stepside will work on a stepside Ranger too. The one my buddy had on his splash came off our buddy's 91 Z71 after it was wrecked.
