once the pond freezes i will probablly take the truck for a little joyride on the ice. this doesnt hurt the tires at all does it? the only thing may be the unsmooth ice parts but idk, what do you think.

 

I wouldn't think it'd hurt anything. Just keep off any sharp edges or anything like that. Wet spinning rubber cuts like butter.

Ya, I love the show but I don't know if it gets cold enough in ohio for that. I would not drive my truck on my pond here in Indiana.

 

Just don't roll your truck on the ice, that will be hard on the body of the truck. lol

Ive drive on ice all the time when I go ice fishing, I even drove on a highways that where ice also...

 

How big is the pond? I wouldn't trust it this time of year though.. to early unless it has been really cold in ohio. I wouldn't put my truck on any ice though I don't care how damn thick it is. Not worth risking.

 

Your tires should be fine. Driving on ice is fun. Our Mn meet is taking place on a lake!

 

i don't recommend driving on a lake unless the ice is at least 13 inches thick. at our ice meet in january, the ice is around 16-18 inches thick.

 

ya i always check the thickness. hell, one year we plowed the pond with a silverado lol

wont have any problems driving on ice...except for traction lol.

I drive on ice all the time...hell,my street and highway are ice/slush 80% of the time in the winter anyways. They ice up because of the open fields and fast winds ripping across the road,freezing what snow/slush is on te surface and creates black ice on the bare asphalt.
