bad for my tires???
once the pond freezes i will probablly take the truck for a little joyride on the ice. this doesnt hurt the tires at all does it? the only thing may be the unsmooth ice parts but idk, what do you think.
How big is the pond? I wouldn't trust it this time of year though.. to early unless it has been really cold in ohio. I wouldn't put my truck on any ice though I don't care how damn thick it is. Not worth risking.

wont have any problems driving on ice...except for traction lol.
I drive on ice all the time...hell,my street and highway are ice/slush 80% of the time in the winter anyways. They ice up because of the open fields and fast winds ripping across the road, freezing what snow/slush is on te surface and creates black ice on the bare asphalt.
Wait...you live in Ohio, you should already know this stuff! LOL
