saw a few rangers today..

i rode with my girlfriend to chattanooga (35-40 miles one way) today and decided to count how many rangers i saw. it was raining pretty hard on the way down there so im sure i missed some. by the time i got home i had seen 151 different rangers. i didnt count any at either of the ford dealerships we passed.

the "Ranger wave" should be a left handed salute

I did that one day in Austin while I was sitting in traffic. I think I was up to like 80 before I got to my exit.

Mods/Admins, make this a sticky. We should all do this everytime (or most of the times) we take a trip. And everyday just post how many we all see.

Bikers stick together around here no matter what type of bike you have. Its pretty cool if you ask me to see a hog and a crotch rocket riding together.

The Ranger wave should be left handed horns out the window. I know I used that for other lowered B2200's when I had mine... lol

I do that to any modded/lifted/lowered truck I see. Get it back 95% of the time. It's cool.

Ricer's (all my friends) get this

Oh, and I give a little beep and a thumbs up to those real nice classic cars on the road.

lol,I pay no attention to ricers (anymore),but I will point and laugh if it extremely distastful.

Rods, classics and generally nicely modded vehicles will get a grin and head nod or a thumbs up from me.

I haven't waved or anything at any other Rangers of B-series,but I do notice a lot of them checking mine out as I pass by. Must be the wheels, lol.

Yeah, everyone on bikes around here wave no matter what your on. I had a Honda at first and then got my Harley and never saw any difference in the waves LOL. I have counted Rangers a few times like between work and home a few times and then on treks to St Louis. Dont remember how many I saw but it might be cool to keep track LOL.

If it is a modified Ranger I wave, but the stock ones seem to all be owned by old men. Nothing against old men, but they never wave back.

I wonder what Civic drivers do. Do they throw gang signs and be all like "yeeeaaaaaaa boooiiiiiiiii!!!" or do they hate each other and race to the death?

Me too. There is this guy in a badass F-250 with stacks that throws his hand up every morning we pass. I think he likes the Ranger.

i can give it a try. but most of the people that drive rangers here are 16 year old queers that are only interested in lifting the front of their truck just to look cool. or its old guys that leave it totally stock.

every once in a while my truck gets some looks though. while its not extremely modded, its modded enough to stand out from all the other rangers.

i get a few looks but i mostly stay in my area so most people have seen my truck befor...

although me and my gf were on 1-25 and we were comming up on a ranger i thought it was an 09 cause the tailgate was really weird but he was from chihhuha or how ever you spell iit but he had the over seas quad cab ranger i was so stoked i was waving to him and him and his family were leaning out there windows checking out what us americans drove... it was pretty cool my gf made fun of me but admitted that they had a cool ranger...but i usually just wave when i see a bad *** classic car or truck or give em the head nod... and i always see the 16-18 year old kids checking out my truck with there stock ranger... makes me feel good about my ranger cause i think it looks like craop sometimes...
