Look in the the door jam on the drivers side. On a sticker there should be something like

SPR
1K
11KK
BBKK

Something to that nature. If you're a 4.0 4x4 chances are you have B or 1 bars.

You're an FX4, I can almost guarantee you have 1 bars. Ford does to tricky things, though...

only if it's a level 2 or an 02 fx4...thats when it's a guarantee. judging by his avatar, it's likely a 03+ Fx4 Off road aka Xlt 4x4 off road aka...nothing special. lol. mines like that and came with B bars.

Under SPR it says 1C. I am assuming that they are #1 torsion bars.

Yes sir. Your truck must've had the payload package 1c. I remember seeing it when pricing out Ranger a couple years back.

Still doesn't mean that haven't sagged, but it's not very likely. You also have the stiffest leaf springs IIRC.

My B4000 4x4 also says 1C. So what exactly is the 1C or 1B or whatever payload package? So I find this pretty intersting that the Mazdas come with all the seemingly good stuff standard that you pay extra for on the Ranger. Mazda ftw!

I just checked it says SPR: 1k, so I have #1 bars for sure? Which means what? I can crank them and they won't wear as easily? And I can crank them a little higher?
