OHC I bought on ebay!

Bought last Sunday and picked it up today who lived in the area. I bought it for $100, that included the temp. sensor, mounting braket, plus lots of wiring. I'll need help to see if I need all that wiring. Everything is from a 1998, which I wanted the green light. I couldn't be more happier. The pics:

That's the most complete harness I've ever seen, good job! Now go to town on your headliner, there's nothing like chopping up a perfectly good truck for the sake of modding!

You will be better served not using most of the harness. It's going to make it a lot harder to get it installed. Although you can use some of the wires to route back to your dome light, and over the headliner, you may find the the wiring in the Ranger is different in ways that require you to slit the harness anyway.

I've found it easier just to splice a pair to the harness to go to the sensor out front, and run three wires behind the radio, and two back to the dome light. It's MUCH harder to make that harness work.

very true... its much easier and simple to use your own wires off the harness right by the console

We're in the same club. The ACTUAL spelling is Brien, the Irish way. So we are both mutations of the original and I would LOVE to have my name changed to Brien.

Well, the market on these things have sky rockted for awhile now, especially with all the stuff it came with.

Yeah I agree with you, the market on these has gone through the roof. You can still get them really cheap at junkyards if you can find them. I found one in a junkyard but the explorer was torched for an insurance claim and the ohc was in terrible shape. Everytime I stop at a junkyard i look for them.

This is mine. I am going to end up redoing it and putting in either a digital air guage or a radar detector where the garage door opener goes.
