I vote do just the gray finish black leave the machined 5 star aluminum. IMO just doing them black makes them just look like they are very dirty.

Heres a quick chop of my idea

if you do gun metal grey/DSG...your truck would look like a Tremor. which are sweet lookin' due to their tinted wheels.

Just painted mine flat black... looks pretty awesome... but uuuhh... the first freakin' spray can produced a semi-glossy rim... I don't know why, it seem like the grains didn't come off the can right... the other 3 rims are perfect... so because of that, I am putting a clear on it... :/

I am a flat black maniak hahaha

For the price it will probably cost to powercoat you will be able to buy new aftermarket wheels for slightly more and then keep your stock ones for spares or whatever or sell them and get back some money.

I called around asking how much to do my wheels black and from the prices I was told it would be cheaper to just buy new wheels and then sell my old ones, plus if your powdercoating your wheels the truck is gonna have to sit on jackstands for a few days unless you have a spare set of wheels/tires.

I voted leave it stock, I've always liked the way those rims looked, I would just buy aftermarket rims if you had the money.

he said $160 to do the powder coating for all for rims, so its like $40 a piece.
i carpool to work by alternating weeks in driving so i would schedule it on a week i dont drive.

I vote a dark grey, gunmetal or black chrome.

Thats a pretty good price, I used to charge $60-75 per wheel to powdercoat them. If you pick a gloss color, make sure that price includes a clear too. The gloss powders tend to fade and/or get chalky looking because they are vulnerable to UV.
