The way I see it is "don't fix what ain't broke". Every car manufacturer does this, that guy is just pickin on the Ranger.

come on guys. jalopnik is a mix of people from other car forums making comments. imagine, honda guy, ranger guy, muscle car guy, camaro guy, tdr forum guy, prius hippy guy, florida mud truck guy, wannabe car owner guy, and vw guy all go to one place. and make comments. oooooooo...we bash on rice. so what if they bash on ranger. seriously. i know that i love jalopnik and the comments people leave...almost everything there is entertaining.

no complaints here, if styling was a big issue to me i wouldnt have gotten the mazda variant (more cosmetic stuff avail for the ford) ... furthermore i was open to any compact truck and came to the conclusion that the ranger was the best i could buy for my money.
