Headlight switch for aux lights?

Ive been thinking about how i'm going to wire up my switch when i get my lights on. I'm going to be putting 2 long range and 2 fogs on a light bar in front of my grill.
I'm thinking that maybe i could get a headlight swich from the junk yard, have t wired up so:
Position 1: no lights
Position 2: just fog or long range (haven't decided)
Position 3: all 4 lights

Do you think this is at all possible? i might just try it to see if the wiring would work.. I like OEM looking & i think it would look cool with 2 of them on the dash.

It would be cool if you can figure it out. It would look better than a half a dozen add-on switches.

That would be neat but I'm not sure how you would go about mounting another headlight switch on the truck somewhere.

I know theres room down by the shifter (i have a 5 spd) but want it on the dash. When i get a nice day i'll take it apart (i need to reset my gas guage) and look for a spot that can accomadate a switch that big. But im thinking right beside the steering collum, on either side.

The reason for all of this is to easily see if my lights are on or off when i get out.

on my truck i encountered the same problem, switch location that is... i pulled out the stock deck, and installed a high end alpine head unit, and it left a good 2inch hole above the deck, where i put a 1/16 inch steel plate with plenty of space to put switches for everything....
